An exchange semester promises to be one of the most exciting periods of a university experience. At the same time, it can also feel quite daunting. A new place, a different language, and unfamiliar faces can make the transition challenging, particularly in the beginning.

Luckily, you will not have to face this experience alone. ELSA is there to support you and help you feel at home. As the world’s largest independent association of law students, ELSA truly connects individuals across borders and creates a sense of community among students.

From Autumn 2022 onwards, it is possible to get in touch with local ELSA groups in selected destination cities across Europe. Your host ELSA group will be available to guide you and answer any questions you may have, whether they concern moving, living, or studying abroad.Above all, they will provide you a warm welcome and be your first point of contact for any troubles you may have - your first friends in your new home.
