JoiningELSA has probably been the best decision I have made in my student life! Next to meeting so many inspiring and like-minded people, being involved in ELSA has helped me in terms of personal development. The network aspect of this association is truly unique and I can truly recommendanyone interested to become a part of it and experience it yourself.
From a diffident, timid boy who never saw himself speaking amongst a group of people let alone leading them, to the confident, charismatic individual who has the privilege of leading his university's ELSA Local Group - my ELSA journey has been memorable, invariably imbued with meaningful connections and highly-enriching international experiences. ELSA is no mere law students' association; it is a supportive and loving family that inspires, motivates, and pushes you to realise your true potential.
Being a part of ELSA Tilburg made sense intuitively to me from the first time I heard about it. My background and future are international, and the spirit of this association, bringing together law students from across the continent, resonates with me.We are living in a world where the boundaries between countries and cultures are becoming blurred, creating new opportunities. For me, rising to meet this starts with building relationships. This is the first reason why I encourage you to join ELSA Tilburg: for the friends you make and the wider ELSA network. The second is this: by becoming an active member, you can enrich your law school education through skills I largely credit to ELSA: organisation, event-planning, team communication, and interpersonal skills. I fully encourage you to take the leap and join this wonderful association.
