ELSA DAY is celebrated across Europe by all local groups of the network, and ELSA Tilburg is excited to invite you to our local group’s ELSA Day event, being a part of the Annual Human Rights Campaign. This year’s topic is International Humanitarian Law!
ELSA Tilburg will be organizing a guest lecture followed by a Discussion Night, on the topic of the place of third party nationals, with a focus on foreign fighters and terrorists, under IHL and terrorism law. Our guest speaker, Ms. Senuri de Silva, a PhD candidate at Tilburg University, will guide us through this topic by providing her valuable insights. Afterwards, you will be encouraged to share your opinion on the topic during the discussion, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have!
